Yeah, but he’s not talking for her because he knows his message no matter how he delivers it will never penetrate. He’s talking for the bystanders listening. Most of the time, that’s who you’re really talking for. He’s only talking to her to 1) teach the bystanders if they’re open and 2) to let her know that not all Black folks are swallowing her stale, cliched bullshit and in fact, see right through her ass.
